Indiana Co. man to serve decades behind bars for role in 2016 double murder

Indiana County, PA (WJAC) Authorities with the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General say an Indiana County man will serve decades in prison after pleading guilty in a 2016 double murder case.

Authorities with the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General say an Indiana County man will serve decades in prison after pleading guilty in a 2016 double murder case.

Prosecutors say 25-year-old Nathaniel Price entered the plea, earlier this week, to two counts of third-degree murder in the deaths of Timothy Gardner and Jaqueline Brink.

Price and two others, Justin Stevenson and Isaiah Scott, were charged in 2016 after the couple was found dead inside their Cherryhill Township home.

Police allege that Price and his co-defendants killed the couple in a robbery gone wrong.

“In an attempt to steal money, the defendant callously took the lives of two individuals. First, killing someone he knew, and then proceeding to kill someone who happened to be a witness to the crime,” said Attorney General Michelle Henry. “I hope today’s plea brings closure to the family and loved ones of the victims. While we cannot bring back the lives that were lost, the defendant will be held accountable for his crimes.”

Investigators say Gardner was reportedly beat with a metal bar before being killed by Price.

Police say Price was then accused of killing Brink after she witnessed the murder.

Authorities say Price also pleaded guilty to charges of criminal conspiracy to commit robbery, criminal mischief, and recklessly endangering another person.

He was sentenced to 65 to 130 years in prison.
