HUNTINGDON COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) State police have confirmed that a suspect in custody following Friday's "barricade incident" in Mount Union Borough. Police say around 10 a.m., members of the US Marshals Service attempted to serve a warrant for 33-year-old Stephon Hoover.

State police have confirmed that a suspect in custody following Friday's "barricade incident" in Mount Union Borough.

Police say around 10 a.m., members of the US Marshals Service attempted to serve a warrant for 33-year-old Stephon Hoover.

Authorities say Hoover reportedly fled into his residence, where he remained barricaded inside for several hours.

Police say Hoover was eventually taken into custody without incident.

State police say troopers are on scene of an incident involving a barricaded individual along Federal Drive in Mount Union Borough.

Authorities are asking the public to avoid the area until further notice, however, police say there is no threat to the public at this time.

According to our crew on scene, an armored vehicle was brought to the scene and concussion/flash grenades were reportedly utilized.

Federal Drive is listed as the address for the Huntingdon County Housing Authority.
