PENN TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WJAC) — Fire crews from across Centre County responded to a barn fire around 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
The fire happened at an Amish family farm on Long Lane in Millheim.
A witness at the scene told 6 News he was cutting his grass when he saw the flames erupting from the barn. He also said animals were in the barn but were safely rescued.
Millheim Fire Company officials said no one was injured in the fire.
Authorities said the fire started in a gas-powered feed mixer/cart that loads and distributes cattle feed.
