CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — Authorities say a Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal is still investigating the cause of the blaze that damaged three homes in Clearfield County Wednesday night.
More than 100 firefighters responded to the 2-alarm fire, which broke out along the 100 block of Wilson Ave. in DuBois around 6:30 p.m.
Authorities say three firefighters were injured while battling the blaze, two of which were treated at Penn Highlands DuBois while the other was treated on scene.
Investigators say the blaze caused approximately $2 million in damages between the three homes.
The cause and origin of the fire has been ruled undetermined and remains under investigation.

Three houses caught fire in Clearfield County Wednesday night, prompting a response from multiple fire companies.
There were more than 100 firefighters called to the scene of the second alarm fire along the 100 block of Wilson Avenue near Dubois around 6:30 PM.
Initial calls for a working structure fire came, with nearly a dozen trucks making their way to the scene.
“We did have two firefighters get treated, transported, and treated at Penn Highlands DuBois, and one firefighter got treated on scene,” said Chief Rob Burgeson of Sandy Township Fire Department. “We did pull two cats from the one structure, other than that, everybody did a good job.”
There was no initial update on the severity of those injuries. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
