COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — A person fell from the stands and died during Sunday's graduation ceremony at Ohio State University.
The person who died has not been identified. It's also not known if that person was an OSU student.
A statement from OSU read: "We are aware of an incident at the stadium during today’s commencement. An individual fell from the stands. They are deceased. We have no additional details to share at this time. Police and emergency responders are on scene. For anyone affected by today’s incident, we will make counseling and other support resources available."
The incident happened after 12 p.m. at Ohio Stadium.
