The Amerisev Flood City Music Festival is back to regular summer programming this year. Last year, due to the pandemic, the event was held in October.

The two-day festival is taking place at PNG park and starts tomorrow at two pm. You can purchase tickets in advance online or at the gate.

Organizers urge people not to bring any chairs or dogs to the event and to make sure to bring a valid from of I.D.

Thousands of people are expected to come out and enjoy this three-stage event featuring 14 different live acts.

Shelley Johansson, director of communications for the Johnstown Area Heritage Association emphasizes the effort that is put into the festival.

“These are people that are very carefully chosen and vetted," said Johansson. "There’s going to be an enormous variety. A lot of times the thing that’s really neat about a music festival is that you get the opportunity to see bands you’ve never heard of. Maybe from a genre that you’re not normally attracted to and you find out you get to discover a whole new world of music.”

All proceeds from the festival support the work of the Johnstown Area Heritage Association.
