Pittsburgh, Pa (WJAC) — The Steelers' defense dominated Sunday as Pittsburgh cruised to a 38-7 victory over the Cleveland Browns, improving their record to 5-0.
Pittsburgh recorded four total sacks in the game, including two by linebacker Bud Dupree, and intercepted Browns' QB Baker Mayfield twice.
Steelers' safety Minkah Fitzpatrick scored the team's first touchdown of the game with a 33-yard pick-six in the first quarter.
Offensively, RB James Conner rushed for 101 yards, on 20 carries, and scored a touchdown in the second quarter, according to the box score.
Running back Benny Snell Jr. and receiver Chase Claypool also added rushing touchdowns in the victory.
Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger completed 14 of his 22 pass attempts, for 162 yards, and a second quarter TD to James Washington.
The Steelers are now 5-0 for the first time since 1978, and will travel to Tennessee next week, a game that was rescheduled from Week 4 due to a COVID-19 outbreak on the Titans.
