In honor of Veteran’s Day, Bishop Carroll High School organized a Veterans Day Ceremony.
The ceremony took place for the first time in conjunction with an Alumni Basketball Game.
Organizers explain that the game included both a men’s and women’s division and really offered an opportunity for the public to see the school’s new gym.
The event also featured a basket raffle from which a portion of the proceeds will go to the It’s All About The Warrior Foundation.
“It’s just really important I think for Bishop Carroll, and our community, and Ebensburg, and the surrounding areas to take the opportunity to honor veterans because they made a lot of sacrifices for our community and our students, for everyone," said Kristie Voyda, a Bishop Carroll Parent. It’s brining everyone together.”
