That’s according to the latest report from the Centre County lockup.

Seventeen inmates from Huntingdon County tested positive for COVID-19.

They were recently transferred after a coronavirus outbreak at the Huntingdon County Jail.

Centre County officials say those inmates who tested positive were essentially quarantined after being placed in a separate section of the prison.

Officials say any staff there who were exposed had to take added safety precautions.

It’s expected the Huntingdon County inmates will spend at least three weeks at the Centre County prison.
