STATE COLLEGE - Employees and others confirmed the possible closing of Ye Olde College Diner in State College.
The owner wasn't available for comment, but employees speculate the closing date could be sometime in April.
The diner has been a staple of downtown and West College Avenue since 1929.
It's famous for its grilled stickies, but was also well-known for giving out Thanksgiving dinners for 50 cents until last year.
This news comes a little over a month since officials with The All-American Rathskeller, another well-known establishment, announced it would be closing.
