BALD EAGLE -- The Bald Eagle softball team hosted Clearfield on Thursday and used an early lead to beat the Bison, 4-2.
The Eagles led 2-0 in the fourth inning and then added an insurance RBI from Zoey Surovec in the fifth inning, eventually extending the lead to 4-1.
Clearfield started a comeback with an RBI double from Brook Cline, but Surovec was able to close out the win on the mound for Bald Eagle.
Both teams play next at home on Tuesday.
