BEDFORD COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — A Bedford County man arrested and accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl is facing more charges after sexually assaulting the girl again while out on bail, troopers say.
According to state police, 24-year-old Daniel Taylor, of Broad Top, is facing 432 more counts related to sexual assault and corruption of minors.
Troopers say Taylor was first charged in February of 2020.
Taylor was arrested after investigators say they interviewed him and the girl and learned that he had assaulted her at multiple locations in Coaldale Borough and in Broad Top Township between Dec.
Jefferson Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities with the Jefferson County District Attorney's office confirmed that a former resident of the Punxsutawney area has been sentenced up to 180 years in prison for repeatedly sexually abusing a young girl.
Officials say Douglas Poole was sentenced last Friday to serve 90 to 180 years after being convicted last November.
Poole was found guilty on all 61 charges he faced, which included rape, sexual assault and aggravated indecent assault.

Wednesday, Roja Rubi says she saw posts on Facebook from people concerned about a deer wandering around her Monroe County community with a green plastic jack-o'-lantern bucket stuck on its head.
Passionate about wildlife, Rubi says she had to do something.
The bucket was blocking the deer's mouth and she was worried the animal would starve.
