BLAIR COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — A special event was held Monday in Blair County.
Families United for Change teamed up with several local businesses and organizations to host a clothing and accessory boutique for women in recovery.
The event was held inside the newly created Railroad City Cultural Center, located within the historic Gables building.
Women in recovery are able to stop in and peruse the items, which range from business attire to hygiene items.
BERKS COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — Officials say a Cambria County nun was killed in a crash over the weekend.
Catholic church officials say they are mourning the loss of Sister Augustine Marie Molnar.
According to the Diocese of Scranton, the 43-year-old was killed Saturday in a head-on crash on Route 183 in Jefferson Township, Berks County.
They report she was headed to Reading for an annual religious retreat.
Sister Augustine Marie was a middle school religious teacher at All Saints Catholic School in Cresson, according to the National Catholic Register.
GEISTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — There is a new pizza shop opening in Cambria County.
JoJo's pizza is opening a new location on Bedford Street in Geistown.
The new shop was formerly Ann's Pizza.
Ann's closed in October 2018.
Employees at the new location said they are trying to combine JoJo's traditions and Ann's traditions -- starting with square cut pizza.
JoJo's Pizza also has a location on Locust Street in Saint Michael.
