State College man found guilty on charges related to Jan. 6th Capitol riot

Authorities with the Department of Justice say a State College man was found guilty Wednesday on charges related to the January 6th Capitol riot in Washington D.C. Investigators say 28-year-old Brian Gunderson was found guilty of obstructing an official proceeding and assaulting, resisting or impeding law enforcement. Authorities say Gunderson is accused of "joining a mob of rioters" inside the Parliamentarian’s Office of the building. West Virginia man charged after attacking state Senate candidate with brass knuckles

LOGAN, W.Va. (AP) West Virginia State Police said a man was charged Sunday with attacking a state Senate candidate at a political cookout. Senior Trooper J.E. Garren said Jonathan Porter is charged with malicious assault, attempted malicious assault and felony destruction of property in the beating on Sunday of Richard Ojeda, who's running as a Democrat for a state Senate seat. Garren said Porter asked Ojeda to put a bumper sticker on his truck, and then attacked him with brass knuckles.

20 feet of pizza to be made in Punxsutawney for PACC 20th anniversary

PUNXSUTAWNEY - Ten local pizzerias and organizations in Jefferson County will team up this weekend to create a 400-square-foot pizza. The event is being held to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Punxsutawney Area Community Center. But the pizza challenge will also be a practice run and send-off for the owner of Punxsy Pizza, Scott Anthony. Anthony, representing Punxsutawney, will head to California on April 9 to help break the Longest Pizza World Record for Guinness World Records.
