PITTSBURGH (WJAC) — According to a report from NFL Insider Mike Garafolo, the Pittsburgh Steelers and quarterback Mitch Trubisky have reportedly agreed to "mutually part ways."
Trubisky was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
After spending four seasons in Chicago, and one in Buffalo, Trubisky signed a two-year deal with Pittsburgh in 2022.
Pittsburgh then signed Trubisky to a two-year contract extension prior to the start of the 2023 season.

CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — Authorities in Cambria County say a Colorado woman is behind bars after she reportedly threatened a local magistrate, as well as her former employer, hundreds of times over a period of several weeks.
Jackson Township police say the investigation began in mid-March after they learned that a woman, later identified as 46-year-old Sarah Byrne, had been repeatedly harassing staff members at the office of Magisterial District Judge Mary Ann Zanghi.
ALTOONA, Pa. (WJAC)—As part of an active shooter drill Tuesday, students from Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic High School filed out of the school building and headed toward an off-campus location where they would meet in the event of a threat.
“We know the world we live in and we understand that we could do one of two things. We could not talk about it at all and not have the answer, or we can start to do the things like we’re doing today, actually physically leaving the school and going to rally point and making a difference when it comes to survival for a bad thing happens at their school,” said Bubba Fatula, the director of threat preparedness for Gittings Protective Security.
CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Authorities in Cambria County say a Cresson man is facing charges, accused of inappropriately touching a 14-year-old girl at her bus stop.
Police say in March, the victim reported that 62-year-old James Kline had touched her while she was waiting for the school bus.
Investigators say the teen stated that Kline would hug her, which she described as "married people hugs."
Police say another teen also reportedly witnessed the inappropriate contact and told the victim to report it.
