WASHINGTON (TND) — A congressman from New York is being accused of bad behavior before the House voted on the funding bill to keep federal agencies open. An investigation is already underway and there are calls for prosecution.
Rep. Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y., pulled the alarm in a Capitol office building.
The GOP-controlled House Administration Committee, which oversees issues pertaining to the Capitol complex, posted a picture from the U.S. Capitol Police showing a man pulling the fire alarm who appeared to be Bowman.

WASHINGTON (AP) — A Georgia business owner who bragged that he “fed” a police officer to a mob of rioters storming the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, was sentenced on Thursday to nearly five years in prison for his repeated attacks on law enforcement during the insurrection.

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating after law enforcement officers shot and killed a man in Spring Garden Township, York County, who fired at them during a domestic incident Saturday evening.
According to a press release, state police were called to assist the Spring Garden Township Police Department for the report of a domestic violence incident just after 11:15 p.m. on the 600 block of Colonial Avenue.

Clearfield Co., PA (WJAC) — State police in Clearfield County say a 19-year-old Reynoldsville man was killed earlier this week in a fiery, two-vehicle crash in Bradford Township.
Investigators say Derraick Burkett was reportedly traveling southbound on Shiloh Road, near the intersection of Route 322, when he failed to stop at the flashing red signal and collided with a tractor-trailer.
Police say Burkett's vehicle struck the guardrail, multiple times, before catching fire.
