Humane Society of Cambria County holds Clear the Shelter adoption event

The Humane Society of Cambria County held their first ever Clear the Shelter Adoption event this weekend. This comes as the number of shelter animals has steadily increased since the pandemic. Twenty-one animals have been adopted this weekend so far but 56 are still without homes. The Humane Society urges people to give these animals a chance at a good life and to not give up on them. “Adopting is always better than shopping,"

Philly shooting suspect arrested in Johnstown's Prospect neighborhood, authorities say

Johnstown, PA (WJAC) — Authorities say a Philadelphia shooting suspect was arrested in Johnstown earlier this week. Keon Smith, and two others, were charged after a 5-year-old and his grandfather were shot in June. Police say the shooting took place right outside a busy gas station. Authorities say they located Smith at a home on McCabe Street in Prospect. He was taken to the Cambria County Prison before being transported back to Philadelphia, where he faces charges related to criminal homicide and criminal conspiracy.

'Extremely dangerous' suspect sought in death of Baltimore tech CEO

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Police have issued an arrest warrant for a person that they are calling an "armed and dangerous" man for the murder of a Baltimore tech CEO. Jason Dean Billingsley, 32, is accused of first-degree murder, assault and reckless endangerment in the death of Pava LaPere.
