LOUISVILLE, Ky. (TND) — A Kentucky court has postponed pro golfer Scottie Scheffler's appearance on charges that he injured a police officer and disobeyed commands outside the gates of Valhalla Golf Club as the venue hosted this year's PGA Championship. We learned about the postponing after Scheffler, who was handcuffed and briefly jailed on Friday, had been due in court Tuesday, after his May 17 arrest at the PGA Championship for reportedly not following police instructions during a pedestrian fatality investigation.
RIDGWAY/ELK COUNTY, Pa — After more than seven decades of ownership by the same Italian family, Aiello’s Cafe in Elk County will be closing its doors one final time on Saturday closed its doors for the last time today.
“But now, as sad as it is, I know deep in my heart it’s the right thing to do,” said Rosa Aiello, whose in-laws opened the restaurant.
The cafe came to Ridgway in April of 1943, but the time has come for the Italian staple on Broad Street to end.

FRIANT, Calif. (KMPH) — A father and daughter were rescued from the San Joaquin River Sunday after their kayaks got stuck on debris.
The incident happened around 2:30 p.m. north of Lost Lake on North Fork and Friant Road.
California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection says they used their boat to get the man off the middle island he was stuck at and used rescue swimmers to help save the daughter in the river.
PENN TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WJAC) — Fire crews from across Centre County responded to a barn fire around 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
The fire happened at an Amish family farm on Long Lane in Millheim.
A witness at the scene told 6 News he was cutting his grass when he saw the flames erupting from the barn. He also said animals were in the barn but were safely rescued. Millheim Fire Company officials said no one was injured in the fire.
