Big Spring Spirits in Bellefonte is known for its ready to drink craft cocktails and spirits, but in recent days they've added a new mix here: a recipe for hand sanitizer.

ADAMS COUNTY, Pa. — On March 21, Devil's Den in Gettysburg will close for rehabilitation lasting around 5 or 6 months, according to the Gettysburg National Military Park. The rehabilitation will focus on the erosion of walkways, as well as safety concerns created from unauthorized social trails, according to the Gettysburg National Military Park. The park says other concentrations of the rehabilitation will be to reestablish, preserve, and protect features of Devil's Den.

Man operating snow blower struck, killed by pickup

ALVERTON, Pa. (AP) — A man operating a snow blower was struck and killed by a pickup truck in western Pennsylvania over the weekend, authorities said. The Westmoreland County coroner’s office said the pickup failed to negotiate a left curve on an East Huntingdon Township road at about 11:15 a.m. Saturday. The truck went to the west side of the street and struck 49-year-old Brian Hyde, who was operating a snow blower, officials said.

One dead after head-on collision on Colonel Drake Highway

LOGAN TWP., Pa. (WJAC) — According to police, one person is dead following a head-on collision on Colonel Drake Highway near Ashville on Wednesday. According to the Logan Township Police Department, they were dispatched to the scene about half a mile south of Skyline Dr. around 4:30 p.m. According to authorities, the two-vehicle crash involved a Ford truck and a Dodge Grand Caravan. Police reported the truck was on fire and the driver was lifeflighted to Pittsubrgh with severe burns.
