OSCEOLA MILLS -- Clearfield District Attorney Bill Shaw said the suspect in a double homicide in Clearfield County has been found dead. Shaw said the body of 26-year-old Cody Bush was found near Route 53 in Ashland. Shaw said it appeared he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Bill Shaw said state police were called to a home on Curtin Street in Osceola Mills Friday morning for a domestic incident involving gunshots.
EFFINGHAM, Ill. (WICS/WCCU) — A five-year-old who was hurt at the Effingham County Fair in Illinois has died, according to officials. The Effingham County coroner identified the child as Harper Finn. The coroner said the girl passed away at St. Louis Children's Hospital on Wednesday night. While at the county fair Sunday afternoon, authorities said a horse-racing pace car driven by Jerry W. Young, of Jackson, Miss., hit Finn with an extended starting gate while passing the grandstand.
CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — Close to half the inmates from the Huntingdon County Prison who were recently transferred to the Centre County Jail have tested positive for COVID-19. That’s according to the latest report from the Centre County lockup. Seventeen inmates from Huntingdon County tested positive for COVID-19. They were recently transferred after a coronavirus outbreak at the Huntingdon County Jail. Centre County officials say those inmates who tested positive were essentially quarantined after being placed in a separate section of the prison.
