Former JPD officer Amber Noel took the stand and detailed an interview conducted with Giles on Nov. 1, 2018.
Noel testified that Giles was "cooperative" during the interview and reportedly stated that he did not know where his wife was at the time.

EL PASO, Texas (KFOX) — An inmate was found murdered in his cell at a Texas jail. Jesus Torres, 57, was found unresponsive inside his cell at the at the El Paso County Jail Annex Monday night, according to an officials with the El Paso County Sheriff's Office.
Medical staff immediately responded to provide medical aid but the inmate was already dead.
The El Paso County Sheriff's Office Major Crime Unit and Texas Rangers began an investigation.
