DelGrosso's Amusement Park opens for season

ALTOONA, Pa. (WJAC) — DelGrosso's Park is opening this Sunday. Rides will be free for two hours to celebrate opening day. That begins at 11 a.m. The park will be open on weekends and Memorial Day for the month of May. The director of marketing says they hope this year is another great year for the park. "We're just excited, again, 72nd year, it's truly a heritage and a legacy so we're excited to continue that for this summer,” said Amy Mearkle.

Man arrested following shots fired incident at Blair County bar

Blair Co., PA (WJAC) — Altoona police say one man is in custody following a shots fired incident at a Blair County bar Thursday evening. Police say just before 8 p.m. Thursday, officers were dispatched to Andy's Bar, located along 4th Street in Altoona, for reports of shots being fired. Upon further investigation, police learned that two patrons had reportedly been involved in a verbal altercation, both inside and outside the bar.

Sean Kingston agrees to Florida extradition, where he and mother face $1M fraud charges

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (AP) — Rapper and singer Sean Kingston on Tuesday waived his right to fight extradition in a California court and agreed to be turned over to authorities in Florida, where he and his mother are charged with committing more than a million dollars worth of fraud. Kingston, 34, did not make a public court appearance but signed papers agreeing to skip extradition hearings, representatives from San Bernardino courts and sheriff told The Associated Press.
